Insurance & Payment Information
We understand that navigating insurance can feel overwhelming. We’re here to help make it easier. Below you’ll find information about how we work with insurance and what to expect when using your benefits for behavioral health services.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We are in-network with most major insurance companies, including:
• Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Aetna
• Pacific Source
• Allegiance
• Cigna
• First Choice Health
• UnitedHealthCare
• Mountain Health Co-Op
• EBMS
(This is not a complete list. Please contact us to confirm your specific plan.)
Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?
No, we are not contracted with Medicaid or Medicare at this time. If you are covered under one of these programs, we can refer you to local providers who may be able to help or we can discuss out-of-pocket options that are available for you.
How do I know if my insurance covers therapy?
Every plan is different, so we recommend contacting your insurance company directly to ask:
• Do I have mental or behavioral health coverage?
• Do I need preauthorization or a referral?
• What is my co-pay or co-insurance per session?
• How many sessions per year are covered?
• Is Green Flag Therapy or my specific therapist in-network?
You can also provide us with your insurance details, and we’re happy to verify benefits on your behalf.
What if my insurance doesn’t cover therapy,
or I want to pay out of pocket?
We offer private pay options for some clients depending on many factors. Our session fees typically range from $100 to $200, depending on the service and provider.
We also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. Please ask us about current availability.
Do you offer superbills for out-of-network reimbursement?
Yes. If we are out-of-network with your insurance plan, we can provide a superbill (detailed invoice) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
What if I have an HSA or FSA?
Therapy is an eligible expense under most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can use these funds to pay for services, and we can provide receipts or documentation as needed.
When is payment due?
Payment (including any co-pays or out-of-pocket fees) is due at the time of service. We use a third-party biller to collect payment. We accept:
• Credit and debit cards
• HSA/FSA cards
• Checks
A card will be kept on file securely for convenience.
